Duran Machinery
Omega Hiline 110. This Model had a prolonged alignment station and prolonged prefold station for high speed.
In general this machine type has the profold station made “only for prefold”. Lock bottom and 4-6 point back fold sections are located in separate sections.
The long and “separate” prefold makes the machine longer, but also the set up times shorter when changing from straight line to e.g lock bottom.
The Omega Hiline featured a set of robust pneumatic breaker rolls. The Omega Pack/J-pack from Graphic West packed the straight line at high speed.

Omega Allpro 110. This machine is the universal Model with the prefolder section combined with the first lock bottom unit.
With a good specification its the most sold folder gluer Model from Duran Machinery.
A great interest was shown at the “hook free” lock bottom unit. The Lock bottom flaps were blown up with pressurized air.

At the show the machine was packing at approx. 40 000 lockbottom/hr.

Omega Intro 80. This machine is a lighter built machine at a lower price. However, it can make the same type of boxes as the full grown machines.
At the show it was equipped with the new Omega Braille unit.

ERO Gluing systems and Quality Control
Ero showed their new Medium Pressure pump, 3:1. Simplier and cheaper.
Its a fact that the full capacity of the high pressure pump 6:1 can not be used in normal folding gluing operations.
The glue camera System showing the “real thing”, how the glue dots actually look at after application is a very useful tool for production quality.
The display also shows if the flap is folded correctly or not. Three glue lines can be monitored with one (1) glue camera!
The accepted tolerance level can be easily set on the screen.
ERO Code reader integrated in the (ERO) glue flap prefolder. The Glue Camera taking Photos at all folder gluer speeds.
Stock Maschinenbau
Stock had their new SLOTF laminator on show.
It had automatic side and front register alignment “On the Fly” able to make up to 10 000 sheets/Hr.
Watch it run- sheets being feed skewed are aligned before laminating station.
Klett
Klett Switzerland presented a new automatic set up Boxmaker- “Case King” in the working width 2500 mm.
Made in China it combines high performance with an attractive price.
Arapak AB will sell this machine in the North of Europe together with their automatic set up slitter scorer.
